Connecte offers:

1. Complete A-to-Z support Throughout their project, participants will be supported by the CJFCB team, which will provide them with:

  • A grant to fund their project
  • Customized follow-up to develop their idea
  • Pairing with a community organization
  • Personalized mentorship from a professional in the domain of your project
  • Practical training to develop their communication and project management skills

2. An intergenerational collaborative space The opportunity for youth and organizations to collaborate, to exchange ideas, and to co-create innovative solutions together for our French-speaking community.

3. A celebration of community engagement! The program will culminate in a celebration in April 2026, at the Connecte Forum, where we will honor all these wonderful projects that make our community shine.

THROWBACK ON Forum Connecte 2026

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the participants and partners of the Connecte 2025/2026 edition gathered at École Jules Verne in Vancouver to celebrate the completion of their projects and share in the spirit of collaboration between youth and community organizations.

45 young participants and 16 francophone partner organizations came together for a day truly driven by and for youth, a program conceived and led by the participants themselves, from morning to evening.

The day featured workshops run by program participants (upcycling, wellness and gardening), a project fair showcasing all 26 projects from this edition, and a workshop on community youth leadership facilitated by Claudya Leclerc from the Fédération des francophones de la Colombie-Britannique (FFCB). The evening closed with a powerful performance in honour of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, followed by the Connecte certificate ceremony and a social hosted by members of the UBC French Club.

A huge thank you to Canada Service Corps and all of our partners, without whom none of these wonderful projects would have been possible!
