Connecte : your project, your community

Whether you already have your project in mind or you wish to apply for a ready-made project proposal, you need to fill out the registration form on the Connecte webpage.

Registration opens October 28th and closes on November 25th, 2025.

A first round of selection will take place on November 14th, 2025, following interviews with the candidates.

Selected participants will also be required to complete a secondary form to confirm their acceptance into the program and confirm their CJFCB membership (free).

Connecte projects are long-term projects that will run from November 2025 to April 2026. Participants commit to completing a minimum of 120 volunteer hours(*) towards their project during this period. Projects can be completed individually or in groups.

(*) This time commitment includes the registration processes, project development and implementation as well as any travel required for their project, and the Connecte Forum celebrations in April. Note that the minimum 120 hours required corresponds to the total hours required per project, divided amongst the youth who contribute to it.

It's possible to register multiple people for the same project; there is no limit on participants. 40 projects will be selected for this new edition of Connecte.

The Connect program has no participation fees.The CJFCB will fund your project, within a range of $300 to $800 so that you can offer your project at no cost to others that attend or can benefit from it.

• Supporting and promoting the French language and francophone cultures: Actively participate in bringing our beautiful French-speaking community to life and ensuring its vitality for future generations. Every action counts!
• Meeting and exchanging with other community actors: Join a network of organizations as passionate as you are, create lasting connections and discover new collaboration opportunities, whether during project implementation or at our Connecte Forum taking place in April 2026.

The CJFCB's role:

• Select and fund Connecte projects
• Pair participating youth with a community organization and mentor
• Support participating youth in managing and communicating their projects

Your role as a partner organization:

• Identify a mentor person(*), who is either a professional member of the organization or external to it. The mentor will be the Connecte participant's main contact, sharing advice and expertise to help the participant develop their skills.
• Support the participant by organizing regular meetings throughout the project's duration.
