JOIN THE 18+ COMMITTEE!
Do you have activity ideas for young adults? Would you like to contribute to their planning and organization? Awesome ! We are looking for people to join the18+ Committee!
The 18+ Committee, is a group of about 12 like-minded youth in charge of creating and implementing activities for young adults, between October 2026 and April 2027. We’ll have “training day” on October 10th, then we’ll meet on a monthly basis via Zoom.
We are looking for youth ages 18 to 25, who are living in BC, have completed high school and are motivated to truly contribute in making a diverse range of activities happen!
Would you like to take part in the 18+ Committee? You have until September 27th, 2026 to submit your application.
Here are the steps to follow!
- Click on the “Sign up” button at the top of the page.
- Log in to your account or create an account if you don't already have one.
- In the “My events” section, select the form «Comité 18+ 2026/2027» and complete it.

WHAT IS THE 18 AND OVER PROGRAMMING ?
Through our exciting program, the Conseil jeunesse francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (CJFCB) provides you with :
- A variety of different activities offered in French
- For young adults 18-25 years old
- Based on the interests of youth like you
- Activities offered throughout the year!
A wide range of activities: Themed evenings, outdoor activities, relaxation workshops, arts, sports... There's something for everyone!
The aim of this program?
- Meet other young people
- Build a sense of community after leaving high school
- And, above all, speak French!
THE 18+ COMMITTEE
Since 2019, the organizing members of the Comité 18+, with the support of the 18+ project coordinator, have been at the core of 18+ activities.
The Comité 18+ is eleven young people responsible for creating and implementing opportunities for all French-speaking youth aged 18 to 25 across the province.

THE 18+ COMMITTEE IN 2025/2026
In 2025-2026, the 18+ programming was :
- A committee of 11 active members!
- The organization of 17 activities for young people aged 18 and over: pottery painting, rollerskating, cat cafe, skating, bowling, kayaking, 6à8s, and much more!
- A total of 242 participants!
