WHAT IS THE SAGA?

In response to the need to transform the perception and format of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) so as to better connect with its members, the SAGA was created BY and FOR its members. The SAGA held its inaugural edition in 2015. The SAGA is a multi-day event that aims to strengthen the involvement of French-speaking youth within their community. As a participant of the SAGA, you will have the chance to meet other like-minded youth from across the province and discuss issues that matter to you. You can expect to participate in inspiring conferences, interactive workshops, and fun activities that will shape your desire for positive change. This experience will also provide you with the necessary resources to develop your leadership within your community! The CJFCB is looking for motivated French-speaking youth interested in getting involved and making a difference in their communities. Click here to discover a short video about the SAGA !

THROW BACK ON THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION

This year, participants from across the province gathered from June 21 to 24 to celebrate youth engagement in all its diversity and across time. In addition to enjoying outdoor activities (kayaking, archery, high rope) at Camp Jubilee in Indian Arm, the young people took part in a number of workshops on the theme of commitment: an inspiring meeting with former members of the Board of Directors (BOD), a workshop to create a collective "zine" around commitment, or a workshop to learn more about the relationship between aboriginal languages and territories.

On Sunday, June 23, a gala evening was held on the SFU campus to celebrate SAGA's 10th anniversary, while showcasing in an incredible talk show the community engagement projects carried out this year with the [Connect program] (https://www.cjfcb.com/programmation/connecte).

We invite you to discover all the Connecte projects on our dedicated platform: Mission de rêve!

A big thank you to all the participants for this weekend, which rounded off a wonderful year with the CJFCB!
