WHAT ARE BCFG?
The British Columbia’s Francophone Games, also known as the BCFG, is THE largest gathering of Franco-Colombian youth. For over 30 years, it has brought together French-speaking youth aged 14 to 25 years old from across the province around the arts, sciences, sport and leadership.
Supervised by activity facilitators and volunteers, participants reveal their talents and have fun in French in the discipline of their choice for an entire weekend.
In summary: various activites, evenings to socialize and a hint of competition... Not to mention, Sporkepic, the historic mascot of the BCFG!
2025 EDITION CANCELLED

LOOK BACK ON THE 31ST EDITION
From May 17 to 20, 2024, the 31st edition of BCFG took place at Entre-Lacs school in Penticton. 96 young people had the chance to take part in one of our 7 components (Sport, Music, Outdoors education, Culinary Art, 19+, Photo/Video and Design) and learn new skills. It was a colorful weekend filled with laughter, discoveries and new encounters. Thanks to all the participants, for their great energy throughout the JFCB, and to our partners, facilitators and volunteers for their involvement!
