What is The Pancanadian Youth Forum ?

The Pan-Canadian Youth Forum (FJP) takes place every two years and brings together more than a hundred French-speaking young people from across Canada.

This is the event that allows you to discuss a national social issue and the means that could be put in place to intervene in a concrete way.

Each edition deals with a different theme which responds to current concerns and which appeals to young people.

Organized by the French Canadian Youth Federation (FJCF), the Youth Council always sends a CB delegation !

2024 Edition: The Youth of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

From October 31 to November 3, 2024, a delegation of six young people from British Columbia travelled to Ottawa to take part in the Pan-Canadian Youth Forum (FJP), organized by the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française (FJCF).

Over four days of activities and networking, more than 75 young people from across Canada had the opportunity to contribute to the Canadian Francophonie. Discussion and learning workshops were complemented by opportunities to explore Canada’s capital and build strong connections with other participants.

On Saturday, November 2, participants also had the chance to attend the FJCF’s 50th anniversary celebration, alongside community members and alumni of the Pan-Canadian youth network. Several panels and discussions took place on topics such as the Canadian Francophonie, the “for and by” approach, linguistic security, and more, followed by a gala evening hosted by alumni of the Pan-Canadian youth network.
