WHAT IS THE SUMMIT?
The Summit was born in 2023 out of the need for young people to have a place to discuss social issues.
Taking place over 3 days, the Summit is an event for students in grades 8 to 12 from CSF schools. The event's aim? To offer students an opportunity to discuss and learn more about the issues that affect them.
Each year, the Summit changes theme to reflect the current needs of youth. At the Summit, youth of all identities have the opportunity to learn together, raise awareness, think about their role in their communities and work together to improve our society.
THROWBACK ON THE 2026 EDITION: MENTAL HEALTH
The 2026 edition of the Summit gathered 35 youth from April 24th to 26th, at Victor-Brodeur school, in Victoria. The theme for this edition was mental health, and participants got the chance to participate in wellness activities, workshops, and small group discussions on specific topics.
On top of that, the youth created a zine and a video to raise awareness in their communities. Stay tuned to discover the finished product!
