Exchange Program

DISCOVER WHERE YOUR FRENCH WILL TAKE YOU! A UNIQUE EDITION OF THE EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR SPRING 2024

Over 6 weeks, the Exchange Program returns in Spring 2024 for a unique edition. From April 8th to May 13th 2024, French Immersion students in grades 10 and 11 will participate in four online activity sessions, adapted to their interests, as well as 2-days of in-person activities in French in Vancouver. Inscriptions are close for thie edition.

A TWO-PART PROGRAM

The goals of this program are to partake in social experiences in French outside the classroom, meet new people and speak French!

The program is divided into two main parts:

Part one - online :

• Participants join at least 2 of the 4 activities offered during the program period. There will be 1 activity per week in April. Examples of activities : Games Night, DIY project, Baking Contest, Trivia, Painting, Escape Room, well-being workshop, etc
• Online activity sessions are held in French over video conference. The themes of each session will be determined by the interests of the participants. Participants will be consulted to choose the dates and times of meetings.

Together, we'll discover where our French will take us — socio-cultural, educational and fun opportunities in French in our communities and beyond!

Part two - in person :

• From May 11th-12th, 2024, participants will meet in Vancouver for two days of activities in French! This is an opportunity for students to meet other participants that they have gotten to know over the past month.
• The CJFCB will coordinate and cover major costs for participants —travel expenses to get to Vancouver (for participants outside Greater Vancouver), accommodation, meals, and programming.
