CRESCENDO this Year!
Crescendo is back to celebrate its 10th anniversary with the theme A thousand Pieces of us.
The idea is to highlight you, your stories, your experiences, and everything that makes who you are. This year’s show will be built around your stories, creating a one-of-a-kind event that captures your life. Your voice and imagination are at the heart of Crescendo!
Here are the key dates to keep in mind :
November 4–23, 2025 : Registration and audition submissions (for the Talents section) December 2025 : Registration confirmation + personalized feedback from professionals (Talents section) February 13–15, 2026 : Weekend of rehearsals at École Jules-Verne Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 5 p.m. : Final public performance
WHAT'S CRESCENDO?
For the past ten years, Crescendo has been a multidisciplinary event entirely dedicated to the performing arts, designed for CSF students aged 14 to 18.
It’s much more than just a show — it’s a unique space for expression and creativity, where everyone can find their place, whether on stage or behind the scenes, and live a truly collaborative and enriching artistic experience. Guided by professionals, you’ll get the chance to create a full-scale production from start to finish.
Participants in the Talent stream can present their own performance in music, dance, theatre, circus arts, poetry, or any other form of artistic expression — or dive into the world of stage direction. Everything is possible depending on your skills, interests, and imagination!
Those in the Backstage stream will get to learn and explore areas such as artistic direction, sound and lighting design, photography, and videography.

For the 10th edition, you’ll have the opportunity to perform or contribute to the staging of a show that reflects your own style. To register, follow these steps:
- Click the “Register” button at the top of the page.
- Log in to your member account, or create one if you don’t have one yet.
- In the “My Events” section, select the “Crescendo 2026” form.
- Fill out the form carefully.
If you’re registering for the Talent section, send your audition video to jade@cjfcb.com before November 24.
Your application will be considered complete once your form has been submitted and your audition received.

By getting involved in Crescendo, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with other passionate young people in creating the show;
- Choose your track: Talent or Backstage;
- Experience the thrill of a live performance, either on stage or by contributing behind the scenes. As every year, your experience at Crescendo will depend on the track you choose to join. Each track and its sub-sections have their own unique features and will give you a distinct, professionalizing experience.
