2024 PROGRAMMING FOR 18-25
Find the activities and events, created by the 18+ Committee, which are coming for this new year!
The 18+ committee, made up of around twenty passionate members, had a busy fall program with, among other things, 6 to 8 Francos and a skating evening at the Shipyards Skate Plaza.
The committee is also planning some great activities to come in the coming months. The next activity will take place online on Sunday January 28 at 2 p.m. for a session Biscuits and Chat. This spring there will also be improv, trivia, outdoor activities and much more for a colorful spring!
The 6th edition of the Grand Voyage will also take place next February. A delegation of 14 students from the French Cohort Program at Simon Fraser University will fly to Winnipeg to enjoy the Festival du Voyageur, a huge winter and French-speaking festival in Western Canada. Participants will have the chance to visit the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, skate on the Assiniboine River, listen to concerts by French-Canadian artists and participate in traditional activities.
It is also a great opportunity for participants to build links with other young French-speaking people in Canada, particularly young people from Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The CJFCB is very happy to coordinate this event which always remains a memorable experience for the young people of the French Cohort Program every year.
The CJFCB thanks the Bureau of Francophone and Francophile Affairs (BAFF) at Simon Fraser University for their support in carrying out its programming for those 18 and over. Stay tuned for all the news and upcoming activities via the 18+ Programming page of our website.
