For its 10th edition, the SAGA will take place from Friday June 21st to Monday June 24th, 2024. Over the course of 4 days, you will have the chance to meet other youth from across BC, enjoy the great outdoors, get involved in your community, make your voice heard within the CJFCB and above all: have fun 😄

Two venues: Camp Jubilee (Indian Arm) and Simon Fraser University campus (Burnaby) One theme: Community involvement in all its forms and through time A celebration: This year, we will be spotlighting BY and FOR the youth initiatives organized through the CONNECTE program. More concretely, you can expect :
- outdoor activities
- an inspiring conference
- a social evening
- a celebration of 10 years of SAGA
- the opportunity to meet youth from across the province -to make your voice heard! This is THE event to connect and meet like-minded youth from across BC!
New! This year, to register for the SAGA, you must first create your profile on the new “Member Platform” of our website. All the steps are detailed here to help you create your account. Upon completing your profile, you can click on “My Events” within your profile to start your Registration Form to participate in the SAGA.
WHAT IS THE SAGA?
In response to the need to transform the perception and format of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) so as to better connect with its members, the SAGA was created BY and FOR its members. The SAGA held its inaugural edition in 2015. The SAGA is a multi-day event that aims to strengthen the involvement of French-speaking youth within their community. As a participant of the SAGA, you will have the chance to meet other like-minded youth from across the province and discuss issues that matter to you. You can expect to participate in inspiring conferences, interactive workshops, and fun activities that will shape your desire for positive change. This experience will also provide you with the necessary resources to develop your leadership within your community! CJFCB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The CJFCB’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place during the SAGA, on Monday June 24th at SFU’s Burnaby Campus! Presence at the AGM is open to all our members, SAGA participants and non-participants alike. This year, 3 positions on the Board of Directors (BOD) are up for election:
- Treasurer - 2-year term
- Director 19-25 years - 2-year term
- Director 14-18 years - 2-year term Stay tuned if you are interested in one of these positions. More information about running for the Board will be posted here at the end of May.
