MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD ABOUT EDUCATION!
Fusion is a forum where all voices are heard! Over several days, we give you the chance to speak up about educational issues that concern you. Concretely, it is the ideal opportunity for you and your colleagues to discuss projects and decisions to better the future of your school and Francophone education in general.
During this unique event initiated by the Francophone School Board (Conseil scolaire francophone, CSF), in collaboration with the CJFCB, you will have the chance to meet other students and broaden your network while also receiving all the necessary tools to be an active member of your student community.
The Fusion forum is open to all student council members of CSF secondary schools, members of the Réseau jeunesse (the provincial student council) as well as any other curious and engaged students that wish to be involved in their student life and learn more about the operation of the CSF.
EXPAND AND STRENGTHEN YOUR COMMUNITY
Although discussion and reflections are at the heart of the forum, it is also the perfect time to have fun! Fusion is the occasion to strengthen your ties to other youth from the francophone community, to reunite with old friends and to also meet new people through fun and playful social activities!
LOOKING BACK ON THE 2020 EDITION
Last year, 23 students from 14 schools of the CSF gathered during a virtual format of the Fusion forum to debate various issues that were important to students. The decolonization of thoughts, the future of education, the transition towards post secondary education as well as other themes allowed us to identify the concrete needs of students.
Throughout discussions and workshops, each student was able to express their thoughts and feelings in particular about mental health and the expansion of the francophone spaces in BC.
