The Conseil jeunesse francophone de la C.-B. presents Crescendo, the first provincial performing arts show, organized in partnership with B.C.’s Francophone School Discrict (CSF).

This competition shined light on the artistic talents of young French-speaking British Columbians. The provincial show will take place, for the third time, on Saturday, June 8th 2019 in Vancouver.

. Promote the artistic talents of CSF students to a broader community;
. Allow students to meet others students with similar interests;
. Promote the use of French in an extracurricular setting;
. Promote the development and practice of cultural and artistic activities in French for high school students.


In this third edition, 22 oyuth across the province were selected from a series of auditions from April 1st to 21st 2019. Our jury chose participants from Powell River, Kelowna, Victoria, Sechelt, Port Coquitlam, Comox, and many other regions across BC.
After many weeks of preperation, our artists gathered from June 6th to 9th in Vancouver at Jules-Verne Secondary school.
On Saturday June 8th 2019, more than 30 participants got the chance to showcase their talents in one of the following disciplines:
. Dance
. Dramatic expression
. Music
. Varierties
. Behind the scenes: master of ceremonies; makeup ; photography.
