For the fourth consecutive year, from Octobre 16 to November 29, 2017, the grade 8 students of the Conseil Scolaire Francophone (Francophone School Board) had the opportunity to enjoy an extraordinary experience by participating in the Leadership Camps, facilitated by the B.C. Francophone Youth Council. These apprenticeships which were proposed by the CSF, aim to allow students to enjoy enriching and positive experiences in French, while also teaching the essential qualities of a good leader and of an effective team.
In 2018, Entre-lacs in Penticton and des Deux-rives in Mission will be participating in Tremplin. To ensure there is continuity from the Leadership Camps, Guillaume will be in charge of Tremplin as well. Do you need more information? Do not hesitate to contact him!
Tremplin was born out of a need for more continuity regarding the Leadership Camps. In previous years, once students had returned to their schools, they had plenty of ideas and motivation to start new projects. Although ideas and principles had been very well transmitted to students during the camps, they lacked the practical tools and the guidance to bring their projects to fruition. This is why, for the first time in 2016-1017, we decided to guide two schools after the apprenticeships, in order to help students put their ideas into practice.
Tremplin: Guiding Leadership Camps participants
The ultimate goal of the Tremplin project is to prepare students for the various steps they need to take to implement a project within their schools.
